• Alipay, the payments service of the e-commerce giant, Alibaba, was inked to facial recognition software called Smile to Pay that customers can just simply scan their faces by using their phone to make a payment.

• Mastercard has introduced the software called Identify Check Mobile in 2016 based on this issue. It is a software that identifies users before making a payment online. Users record their face into the program and the program will prompt users to authentic themselves by using facial recognition every time there is an online payment making.

• Apple has applied Face ID as a password of phones in 2017. Every time you look at your phone, the system will conduct a secure authentication check, enabling your device to be unlocked or your payment to be authorised quickly and intuitively if it recognises you.
