Many diseases are difficult to identify in the first place. This has led to many died due to the lack of immediate access to treatment. There are also many medical emergencies often happen around the world. In most of the time, some of the medical emergencies often end up tragically due to the inability to immediately obtain the patient’s medical history and unable to figure out the patient’s symptoms immediately.

 

• There is one disease called 22q11.2 deletion syndrome. This syndrome is a common syndrome that mostly happens to children and always underdiagnosed. It can cause a lot of problems to the body such as heart defect and cleft palate. Facial recognition is used because it can help to find out the syndrome easier by analysis people’s face.

• There is an idea about creating a mobile facial recognition system that could store the patient’s medical history. Just by capturing the image of the patient, medical personnel get to know the medical history immediately. The system can also identify patients’ symptoms by comparing the similarity between the facial symptom templates of diseases.
